This was a big deal. The traveling museum, the American Freedom Train, was crisscrossing America carrying priceless documents to celebrate the bicentennial. It came to Donalson Center and my whole family was ecstatic. They had the US Constitution, a moon rock, and various other letters and documents for any visitor to view. It was sensational and I got home with free copies of each. It was there to remind those to never take freedom for granted or it’ll be gone, one cut at a time.
