Henni's Bar & Grill
Alongside Dempseys, and maybe 2 others, Henni's was the only game in town. What a lucky break, too. Above par food, great beer selection and a cool Biergarten drinking & smoking area. Local laws put the screws to smoking downtown in a methodical way. (I remember that sucked for us smokers. Hidden away like some forgotten orphan in the shadows with the rest of the odorous.. We were dramatic about it. After burying my clothes in the backyard after each night at the bars, I quit. Years later, I might add.)
