1986 Jazz Festival
Here’s a design for the 1986 Jazz Festival at the Memorial Auditorium in downtown Greenville. Made with good intentions, some cancellations hurt, but they did bring out Stanley Clarke. This phenomenal bass player, who worked with greats like Paul McCartney, Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock, sang his sweet hit, “Sweet Baby.” Find it on Spotify or something. It’s a great song and you’ve all heard it. Anyway, this is an engaging t-shirt, and it celebrates Greenville finding their place in the arts in 1986.
