McAlister Square • Shopping Showplace
Here's an old image advertising the new McAlister Square back in 1968. I was a great mall at the time. With a Parisienne Wig Shop, the Weathervane, J Riggings, Ivey’s, Casual Corner and Morrison's Cafeteria it held great metropolitan shopping with a theater just next door for the kids. It had no competition until the Greenville Mall opened in 1978.
